metroid works but it's less of precision game though (since you have to lock on anyway), there are times the controls get annoying during the major fights. I havn't played the other games.
House of the dead and resident evil umbrella chronicles are basically like arcade shooting games-point and click And metroid prime 3 differs-while you can lock on you still need to actually aim at your target-the first 2 just had a full on lock at the weak points, making it too easy.
Definately playstation because the psx was my first real system and have just gotten so used to it. No matter how much I hate xbox, it is secondd because it is basically a larger version of the playstation controller, though I hate the black and white buttons and start and select placing, lastly is gamecube. I would've liked this better than xbox if the dpad and control stick were switched, but it got so annoying. Especially playing mario kart wii with the gamecube controllers.
I voted for the GameCube controller, but my favorite is the classic controller from the Wii. I haven't held a more comfortable controller, and with GlovePIE I can play all my emulators + Cave Story.
