Thats the only way I can see anyone trying to preserve a game in its original factory sealed condition and be able to play said game....now its all starting to sound silly after reading that over. I personally don't care about keeping games sealed that I want to play not bothered with collecting to resell in the future either. I just like aggravating mds about his limited edition collecting fetish.
Or a rom Ah, your subtle approch fooled me XD Well, it does make sence is a way-but I'll have to try something...I do plan to hack my wii later on
how much do you guys think Mana Khemia 2 unsealed with the bonus stuff for the ps2 would be value years from now?
If you are talking about the limited edition version that came with the poster, calendar art book and premium box they claim only 2000 were made and new costs around $80.00 I'd say used might be $50.00 or so used but I have not seen any games by NIS spike in price any not to say it won't a few years from now. now Atlus games on the other hand...
I don't have much original games but I have a special one in my collection Jade Empire Special edition It came in a special tinned cover it included a poster of Deaths Hand www.gamespot.com/.../boxshot.php?pid=932971 it is one of my favorite games
I hope metal slug 7 and contra 4 do-I got them XD (metal slug 7-factory wrapped ftw!) These games are hard to find even now-so it may be worth a notion. Why-what do you have-MARIO ain't worth jack unless it's a "classic" mario game aka super mario 64 is JUST within the bracket. (not the ds port)
I am totally focused on the Game itself, so i don`t get myself any (expensive) collectors editions. Just bought "Breath Of Fire III" for the ps1 many years ago. With this handpainted Dragon-Statue and a T-Shirt. Except for my oldest computer-games (usually came up with gimmicks in their huge Boxes) i only bought the "normal"-versions of console Games. was there a collectors edition for the first "metal gear solid" on ps1?
Some DS games might increase, it all falls under supply and demand (plus it being complete and being unopened/sealed is a plus) I would expect Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor sealed to gain some over the next few years and any other less known titles Metal Slug should fall under that category as well. On a side note i went a pre-ordered Demon's Souls for Ps3 (Atlus title) and with their history of games spiking in price here and there the guy that runs the place, and one of his workers told me they both ordered the standard and deluxe edition of this game they are going to play the standard version and leave the deluxe sealed for future profit. I would do the same but it wasn't easy getting the money up just for the deluxe let alone getting the standard one too. that would be like $130.00 not including tax...course I say those guys got some sort of discount on top of it. Not that I have seen, closest "special" version I have seen is 1,2,3 in a 3 pack for playstation 2 but the original MGS was still a playstation 1 version nothing new added to it.
... how about the offshoot starcraft 1 expansions, i have this map pack called "stellar forces"... i cant find any info on it anywhere.
Prehaps-metal slug 7 and contra prehaps-good games made in VERY limited numbers [me=mds64]owns factory sealed metal slug 7 FTW[/me] No idea-but pc games aren't usually worth collecting from what I know unless it's collectors edition. Resident evil5 pc included...that's why I got the 360 version (collectors edition) just for the sake of it ;D
I pre-ordered this one, of course its opened now. Got the game,190 page guide, collector box, artbook, and an audio CD This will be next on my list. Limited Edition, comes with Tin Case, Bonus DVD,Cloth map, 3 pieces exclusive in game content and a bonus quest and new character ,and another add on for pre-ordering
First one is an awsome score... Second...welll being made by EA-I doubt it would be rare-but it would look nice (Need for speed most wanted black edition-cheapest one I seen in collector's games-and carbon's limited edition was even cheaper...) Oh well-time shall tell
