Chrono Trigger DS Anti-Piracy Patch

I'm running Chrono Trigger (U) with a code to bypass it. It's worked really well and hasn't messed up.

I'm using an R4 with the 1.18 firmware.

 

well my AK2 has a cheats folder. It has two cheat files under .DAT format. If I can find one that has the patch preprogrammed into it...I did find one supposedly called USR4.DAT. I tried the FIX code, and it hasn't worked.

 

You should be able to edit the .DAT files with R4CCE and add the code in.

 

recommend a good site that has R4CCE dl?

Enough. Square Enix have a script which loops (probably due to accessing ROM data differently in flashcarts) which can do that.

Could patch it, or add the M3 Real codes given on Almo's topic in Tutorials, and then add them to your dat, .xml etc. whatever cheat database in your firmware following my "How to Add Cheats to R4", following the same principle. The R4 Cheat Code Editor can be found of r4ds.cn (.com is broken), the link above is a modified one.

Yes, it does indeed work on the N5 as well. Answered my own question by actually trying it.

I agree. The problem was fixed so long ago, its on the discussion on the game itself...
