Hi I have a chipped PSONE and I've downloaded games and used alcohol 120 but the game does not work on my PSONE what is the problem? Thank you
Perhaps the games are region locked? Also when burning PSX ISOs remember to burn them on the slowest speed (1x) to ensure they write properly.
Did you extract the downloaded file before burning to a VCD? A modded/chipped PS that can run pirated game copies can run any region game. PSX uses VCD, PS2 uses DVD. I'm not sure if using CD-R or CD-RW will make any difference, but likely not.

keep all the files together and burn the .cue or .ccd file in image burning mode (NOT data disc mode) Try using imgburn (freeware). Start imgburn, choose 'burn an image to disc' and then pick the .cue or .ccd file and burn at 4x or less.
