    Yes, Im chinese. And yes, that is chinese superstition. A long with a lot of other things like wear bright colours on New Year and stuff.

    A lot of superstitions actually.

    Staying up late on the eve as a sign of long life for your elders, not sweeping your porch/house, and of course, not washing your hair (which I don't think anyone follows.)

    Its pretty sad that my friends who are currently studying overseas don't get a week off for this :p

    The rat/mouse and the cat/rabbit hitched a ride on the ox....
    Just before they reached the finish, the rat pushed the cat off the ox....

    I think u 2 watch fruit basket its an anime about animal zodiac as I remember the cat was out of the zodiac thats what i remember
