FYI, Wifi. So think... uh... goddamn, Cahos, just fucking think before you call people out for not thinking.
If it's a single player game I don't really care. I also don't generally care if we all know about it beforehand and we just feel like screwing around by randomly flying around and blowing each other up in absurd fashions depending on the game. Only time I draw an issue with it is when people use it to improve their rankings on a leaderboard or some other stupid crap like that. I always viewed that sort of thing as pretty sad myself since it puts the no-lifers down and robs them of what little glory they could have regardless of how meaningless it happens to be.
The only game in which I cheated is GTA:CW.. Fuck that, there's no way I'm gonna spend 3 times collecting weapons.
Ah, but you forgot, I play Pokemon on an emulator (no$gba) so how then can I use WiFi? Also. my nieces have an actual DS & they have Arceus, Darkrai & Shaymin on there. When I asked them where they got them they said they traded with their classmates who admitted he got them by using Pokesav. And we don't get Pokemon Events here so there's no way you could get legit event Pokemon here without cheating This time you fail, because you forgot to consider those two things: 1. On what I play Pokemon on 2. Actual access to WiFi.
I've cheated quite a few times online, but only with the Pokemon games, and only with hacked Pokemon. I always make sure that my Pokemon are within legal limits, since creating super Pokemon is just too much effort. A.) I don't really see how the two are related. The only connecting line I see between them is they're both frowned upon. One is basically 'cheating' the company out of money (not like they'll notice that one person didn't buy their game), and the other is cheating against a player. B.)Nope, I think cheating is actually less on the scale. So are ROMs. People are going to do/use them both regardless, so I don't see the point in getting all flustered about it. C.)Read the above sentence.
For me, I use cheats if: - I wanna see a certain feature that is hard to get REALLY REALLY BADLY - I am bored I don't cheat if: - I wanna finish a game I like REALLY REALLY DAMN BADLY - I can gloat my victory to my friends without being called a douche.
Y'know, the GTA's engine... It's kinda hard to explain, but if you cheat and save the game, it'll be easier to occur glitches and bugs, due the fact that the GTA's Cheat force the GAME'S SCRIPT to change the routine. On free-roam mode it don't affect it, due that you're just fooling around, without saving.
Personally, I only resort to cheats if A) I deem a game to be impossible without it (I.E. Battletoads [even then, still very difficult] or Contra 3) or B) I've already beaten the game
cheatikng is like the easy way out, I cheat on games because some parts of the game are really pissing me off (if a cheat is avaliable)
