can u really play ps1 on ps2?

    Original PS1 games can be played on a PS2 without a modchip.

    Yeah, thats what I was saying. I played my original PS1 games without modding my PS2... So all i needed to know was how to mod my PS3 to play both PS1 and PS2 burned games, but PS3 can't be modded yet, as Loony stated earlier.

    it's backwards compatable but sometimes something in it can wear out (like my old one did) and it can stop reading ps1 and blue ps2 games, but still read the white ps2 games
