actually IF god taking care of everyone business, it would be logical to belive in him, let me ask you

lets say there is 2 kingdom rule by 2 kings, King A and King B

King A doesnt care or interact with the citizen of his kingdom

King B interact with his citizen by hearing and try to solve the problem of his citizen

just said King A and King B die at the same day, which citizen do you think would take notice the demis of thier king without an offical annoucment?

nope, god didnt help people at all, its people who help them self.

if you pray and hope for a promotion, why dont you brush up your skill?

if you pray and hope you wont invlove in an acident, why dont you start draving carefully?

if you pray and hope for a healthy baby, why not start having your gene check out?

if you pray and hope that nobody would rob your house, why not install an security system have some percautions?

human can do everything just fine without "guide from higher power". If people belive thier successed because of god, they are lack of self confident (they can do thing for them self, but they dont belive so).

    Don't you mean "Is eternal"?

Faith without logic is blind. Im sensing that your a religious fanatic that loves or fear God too much that you won't question him. You're like one of the village people of the past that persecutes people because some idiotic priest accused them of blasphemy or witchcraft.

Yes we think here, we think hard, thats why we voice our opinions to be challenged and prooved.
and I think it would be more efficient if we state our ideas here. That way we wont be limited by only two minds. That way you can justify and defend your ideals against the whole community of romulation.

Well first we assume ideas/situations, and using that situations we think of ideas, from that we find flaws, and try to give reason. I agree with you that you can never kill that which does not exist, but that does not apply to God. Because in thery of origin Something comes from something. You came from your mothers womb, Paper comes from trees, etc. However if you were to imagine, Where did the FIRST something came from? the common answer is God. However the definition of the word god varies from many culture. We limit this by assuming the situation depicted in the Christian bible.

We must first look into the concept of a "king". A king is a leader chosen by the people[well rarely, most of them just succeed the throne by means of blood or conquest] to serve the people. He is a human being like any other that have needs. Social needs, Physical Needs. God doesn't need that. Thus the analogy doesn't apply. from our assumption God is perfect, not bound by limitations, not by human needs. He doesn't need to be loved to be able to exist.

I agree with you here.  People just like to blame others to take the fault away from themselves.

a King is a ruler of a country, he make the rules and therefor he is consider as god in that country. so it apply.

if he doesnt need to be love, then why do there is a religion dedicated to that god? if he doesnt need to be able to exist then why do you need to belive in his existance? assumption isnt facts, its mere opinion. I can assume god is a bastard who feed on people's misery, its nothing more then opinion.

No, God Cant Be Killed, Since He Was Eternal
    [/quote]

Again, define "eternal". Plus, everything that exists has a beginning somewhere. So where's the christian god's beginning? I really don't think their bible touches on that...

And Despite Us, We Cant Create Anything, We Only Can Making From Something to Something

Just think of "Who" created the world? Hmm....methink's that it's just a lucky chunk of rock orbiting the Sun... And we can't create anything because of what I said before.

A king is different from a god. making rules does not make you a god, because if it does everyone in the world would want to establish their own kingdom just so that they can make rules that can make them a god.

Because the relationship of "need" between god and man is not mutual. man needs god, but god does not need man. We make temples, and try to give reason that god exist because man have insecurities that are not quenched by earthly answers.

    ancient egyptian said otherwise

wrong and right, wrong people doesnt need god as we mention in our last discussion and right people need god because of the insecury that further support my claim that only weakling need "guide from higher power".

lets get back to the topic shall we?

true, but thats outside the scope of the discussion. The limitation is that of the Christian God.

1 - Wrong people do Wrong Things Monstly becuase of Bad background. Like not Enough Money to feed Him/Her self / Families Etc. so realy you cant say that Wrong People dont need God. there is no way you can find proof of a "Bad" guy that Realy and Truly doesnt need god. Therefore you must Assume that Everyone needs god unless you can Find Solid Proof if it.

2 - Right People aint Weaklings if they need God. thats just a stupid thing to say. Martin Luther King Was A Proud and Very Powerfull man. he believed in god. Before he made the Speach "I Have A Dream" i believe he prayed Or/And did the Cross touchs on his Chest. (Right shoulder, Left Shoulder, Forhead and Stumach) [Something around those lines].

If I told you where I would like you to put your advice I would get banned... So I won't say it...

And God does not exist, there is too much evidence against it's existance and no evidence at all for it's existance and don't go saying "(I'm a retard because I believe) We are evidence of it existing" because that is crap, get some real evidence!

And there never has to be a cause for beginning you idiots!
We may not even exist ourselves! Things can come out of nothingness! Butr not 'god'!
    Grr....

There's no solid evidence to support that statement

assuming everyone needs something that doesn't exist is fallacy. Besides, Hitler, Blair and Bush all had god, and between them they murdered about 10 million people. That is proof that we're better off without this 'god'.

Don't forget because of this 'god' we lost out on alot of technology in the dark ages!

You're wrong, this discussion includes other & all religions & belief systems that believes in a "God", hence in one of my posts I mention several references to other religions & even in mythology that at one time was an actual religion as well. But yeah, this is starting to become a hate/rant discussion on Christianity, oh well.

    Lols.

Isnt Commone Sence Evidance Enough ?

and i did say "Most". we all have Reasons why we do things dont we ?

We eat becuase we hungry or what food in our bellys.
We play becuase were Bored or wanna finnish the game.
We buy things becuase we want it.
We have sex becuase we want Kids or we like it.

We as Humans have reasons why we do things, Good or bad, we have reasons.

Ye they probly did believe on god but they surely wasnt following the rules that god has placed down for them. "NO KILLING" is basicly on EVERYTHING. Religious Books, Alot of Citizen minds, All the Laws thats been created, Pressure Groups Etc. they Obviously wasnt Following

I just skimmed over most of everyone's posts on this thread & yes, this has now been deemed a Christianity hate discussion.

Obviously alot of you don't even understand the concept of what "Gods" are & only reference the Christian "God". Ofcourse that one is so over rated & as I said in my earliest post a very demanding self centered egotistical being, if he/she/it does exist.

In honesty I think before we debate over if "God" can be killed we should first read up on other belief systems in order to keep this & every religion discussions/debates a "healthy" hate free discussion.

And yeah, even though I denounced my birth religion years ago, I found my own beliefs by studying every & all known belief systems out there including the more darker ones, except for the very lesser known ones.

I don't want to continually defend Christianity or any one religion from this tremendous hate everyone harbours, but if this will go on, I think something must be done. Just because people believe in something that doesn't give us any right to mock or harass them because that's also a form of discrimination.

Don't lie, I know you hate Muslims too :p

Seriously this kind of "self-expression" should stop if we want to really get along :p

Right... Not just human's have choices and reasons...
If you are talking about common sense then why follow a religion?! Duh...
Most generalisations are almost completely wrong
And do all christians have problems with evidence?!
I don't hate Muslims anymore, I met a nice Muslim and found the error in my ways...
I dislike Pakistani's now instead... Muslims of that origin have the most spout offs of extremism...

Naa. i dont have Problems with Evidence, ima Christain. we have Faith, we Believe. ye i do have to agree sometimes that Evidance is good and better than faith. BUT the Bible to me is convicing, It makes sence.
