It's been a long time since I posted and logged-in here. What happened?

 

Drama, butthurt, and a general sense that on the internet, we Filipinos are pretty stupid.

Me too. Though I'm not really a big fan of it.

 

I prefer roast chicken over roast pig.

 

I'm not fond of roast pig either. My mom & my Godmom loves it but I never acquired the taste for it. And in fact, though I eat meat I never eat the fatty bits as well.

 

Continuing the food topic, I prefer chicken asado or some puto (the sticky ones)

 

I love all foods except veggies.

What an easy assignment

You could have just looked into "Bitoy" Micheal V.'s "Bubble Gang MEV (Music English Version) gag songs" for an easy answer:

For example:

May Isa na namang Kumagat sa Alikabok which is a "literal" Translation of Queen's Another one Bites the Dust

Here are a few more:

Bumabalik na naman ulit sa akin which is a literal translation of Celine Dione's It's all coming back to me.

Kama ni Rosana or Rosanna which is a literal translation of Jon Jovi's Bed of Roses. A bit of trivia, the name "Rosanna" is an allusion to Rosanna Roces who is a porn star of the 90's.

Ang Puso ko'y Tutuloy which is a literal translation of the Titanic Movie theme "My Heart will go on.

Ako'y Mabubuhay which is a literal translation of I will Survive. By the way, this one by far is the most insane one yet.

These songs were made by Bitoy as a gag in the Gag show Bubble Gang back in the day & they were purely for laughs, however some of them do sound just right.

Ikaw pa rin by Ted Ito which is the Filipino version of Saigo no Iiwake by Hideaki Tokunaga

Di ko Sinasadya by Quamo which is Fixing a Broken Heart in Filipino.

Sumpa ko by Quamo which is I Swear by All 4 One in Filipino.

O Jo' Kaluguran Daka by Ara Muna which is Sometimes when we Touch in both Tagalog & Kapampangan having Tagalog verses & a Kapampangan refrain. This song is currently very popular in Pampanga though here in Manila a lot of folks are baffled about it.

Square Enix has confirmed that Charice will be sing the theme song for FF XIII-2 entitled "New World" which is also on her new album "Infinity"

 

WTF!?!? What the hell was Square Enix thinking!?

I can name 10 singers right off the top of my head that would be WAAAAYY better than Charice.

 

Oh well, I'm all for more Filipino artists getting more recognition. Helps the country's low self esteem.

 

I'm not one top judge because Charice is a really good singer and I like some of her songs. It all depends on how she sang the theme song before I start judging.
