Well, i hope you don't buy and buy too many gizmo...remember that the year is ending, it means new techs next year...you might want to save cause we know when new techs come, old techs prices drops.

Also, a question, why an itouch? hope your reason is not to brag, k? Cause its stupid just to buy an item just to brag.

I know, I already separated my itouch money and new saving money for next year gadgets, though I know i won't be buying them straight of the shelf the the 3DS, imma wait like 6 months, factory defects and updates :)))

I'm not buying the iTouch to brag, that's just stupid and a waste of money. I've always wanted a iTouch, I first got my nano then it got destroyed to I was going to replace it with the Touch then one thing led to another postpone buying X10 then here we are now. One solid reason why I want it which ill tell you is that for wifi in my school. Our school uses a proxy server and my phone isn't compatible. the iTouch on the other hand is very compatible.

Though the more I think about it the less excited I am to buy it :|

There is no such thing as an iTouch. An iTouch is a flashcart. An iPod Touch though, is a touchscreen music player manufactured by Apple.

It's slang, it takes to much effort to put iPod in the start, when people already know what I'm taking about.

Well, my lil sis got one of that itouch and well, she bragged that to my face. hahaha. she gets more money than i do teaching... but oh well... at least I'm saving for something else than an itouch that looks exactly like a iphone without the sim card...lol

Btw, don't you plan to buy an ipad or those tablet pc's instead of a gadget like itouch?
cause if you're just after the wifi in your school...won't it be better for a mobile comp a.k.a a laptop/netbook/tablet pc etc....

not to sound like a seller, but i think you should think harder...get the bang out of your bucks like they say.

I considered that but I commute and I don;t trust my self enough to bring them with me. I already have a laptop and yes i am fearful of bringing it, i sort of have a phobia.

Wifi is just one reason but not the main. But i am having that feeling of doubt when you over think something. I don't want a new phone si I just got one, no new gadgets worth investing in really.

Now that you mentioned it, it was very redundant.

May as well place it here, does anyone knows self-service laundry shops in the philippines aside from Lavandera Ko? I'm planning to move out next year, starting january. I know a place to stay, find food, but my only problem is laundry. Like in elementary days, the 3 primary need of a person is shelter, food and clothing... i tackled the 2 except clothing.

I may as well answer the question, why don't i use a laundry shop service like 30pesos/kilo?
Answer: I like seeing my clothes washed. If possible, i do it by hand cause i don't trust washing machines, but because its the city and there's no place to hang clothes, my other option is to wash it by machine, but I am the one controling it instead of others.

I even have a theory that they do all clothes all at once. Either white+color or my clothes+clothes of other patrons which i don't agree with. But i can't prove it yet.

Also, the area i would like is in Cubao, mostly between LRT Cubao and LRT Anonas Stations...
    Thanks for the help!

I've been thinking about it seriously and now I really don't know what to buy for myself this Christmas. I hve 10-13k, I already have a laptop, ds, psp, and a new cellphone. Can you recommend anything thing I can buy? Doesn't have to be a gadget. I just really want to buy something that's a long time investment and that I want something nice for myself. Thanks

You really must hate money, don't you. Well, I don't normally suggest this because its expensive and dangerous. But for you, i suggest you to buy gold bars. Its expensive, a long/short time investment, i guarantee you that it will be extremely profitable and a good investment. All government need this to survive.

Also, i suggest you go to a gold mine, like in Butuan and buy a good gold bar. If you know the process of turning it to a sunken gold bar, then it doubles the price.

Or, you can invest at a good laser printer and try counterfeiting. Its a good long investment and you get your money back in just a few mins/hours.

As much as that idea could really be fun, it's really something I do every year, buy something for my self. I therapist friend suggested it to me. it brings back positive vibes and a good way to start the year. But i don't know something about this year is just making me @-)

If i have extra cash this christmas, i would buy the new arrival from cdrking mug press. it hope it would be cheaper cause i love mugs, and i would love to start a simple project turn into a business. I would have choosed a printing business, you know, those t-shirts, but well, no budget.

but if you like a trill for your bucks and you don't like to turn it into a business, why don't you try a model plane, boat. Last year, I bought an RC Helicopter, and War ship at Toy Kingdom, well, the boat was a lot of fun than the helicopter cause it always crash and now, can't find parts that are cheap. My boat was well worth it, cause i had fun and i let my students and less fortunate children have a go with it. But since i used it in the sea, the rotors rusted up.

But since you have money, i suggest you go with the Build your own ships that is Remote controlled and gas powered. Either you can play it or you can use it to race. I bet its a long term use and an investment cause you buy it cheap, and can sell it for a higher price in the future.

if i start a business that actually earns money I may be tempted to drop out of school. haha. I like the RC helicopter thing, I saw an episode of Modern Family where Jay made a model airplane then flew it, it seemed kinda fun. I checked out the Toy Kingdom website to check for it then I saw Lego. how I miss playing with Lego. I might just by Lego or not. again tempting :))

I think I'll just save the money and start next year thinking I didn't waste all that money. maybe it would make me feel better. i don't know. I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Any of you Filipino Power Rangers fans notice that the 4 RPM Megazord sets cost cheaper then previous ones? Before I would remember them being at least P2000, but now they're at P1800. Maybe it's because each of them have 3 instead of 5.

With the drop in price, I'm tempted to buy at least one of them.

Oh come on... lego? What next? that stacker cups? Just save your money then. Sure lego helps you let your creativity running, but honestly, waste of time and a chocking hazard for young children.

Also, try and build the model airplanes/helicopters instead of buying it as a whole/as is, why?
If it crashed and broken, you can find parts to repair it. If you buy that from toy kingdom and it gets broke, its harder to find pieces, and well, its battery operated meaning, only 20-30 mins of fun, maybe lesser in the future. Gas powered gives it a kick and more fun. And if you value status, you may joined the RC Club. Not the Softdrink, but the prestigious club for remote controlled planes/copters/sailing ships owners.

I remember and tried joining with my toy kingdom bought RC and well, damn... its a shameful moment. hehehe
