Anyway, about the question at hand....

I absolutely abhor Jejemon, or what it should be more properly referred to as L33T speak, because as this banner CLEARLY states:



Only a person with an I.Q. Below 50 thinks L33T is cool

Also, Jejemon is NOT an actual language as those morons claim it to be as it is simply grammar butchering & misuse of a form of shortened & coded messaging that came about from people trying to fit a whole message into as few characters (alpha-numeric symbols) as they can to save mobile phone credits (or simply load as we call it).

At my Uni, everyone in the Linguistics Department are pissed off at the whole thing, especially people from the Filipino Department as many of the Professors there are adamant Tagalog supporters who even raise eyebrows when you speak of Filipino as not actually a synonym for Tagalog, which it isn't of course.

 

Text speak is different from 1337 speak. 1337 speak uses excessive letters (but not all the time) So I call it, I waste of money and time. They're lucky they were born in the texting capital of the world. If not, they would have been bankrupt by now.

 

Yes L33T & SMS Speak are indeed different, but you missed reading this bit...

And in fact, almost 80% of Jejemon users do not even know what L33T is & they claim "ownership" for the development of Jejemon, even if the fact that "jeje" came about from Spanish internet users who started an internet meme simply because the letter "J" sits close to the letter "H" on a keyboard.

 

Remember that if you post in a non-English language on the forums, you must provide an English translation.

Let me just clear this up: You can speak Filipino, provided that you must have an English translation for other users who don't speak our native language.
