Hey guys! Kamusta? I'm a Filipino too, from Cavite City using an EDGE cart.
I'm dissapointed I didn't download the latest games like Megaman Zero Collection before the ESA comes butting in. Why?
Well, I was waiting for EDGE latest firmware 1.11 to counter anti-piracy. I should've downloaded the games when there was still time.. but to no avail. :'(
I hope the NDS section will be on-line again in the near future.. :

 

i hope the nds section will be restored... or it will be done for me.

 

Me too Infinite Zero.. I can't buy originals coz they're too expensive. :'(

Anyone here planning to get the 3DS when it comes out? Not many people I know own Nintendo stuff; they're all Sony and they seem to say that Nintendo's for babies.

 

I am most definitely gonna get a 3DS. Within at least 6 months of its release. I trust Sony with my audio and television needs. But when it comes to gaming, Nintendo all the way.

 

I will totally get a 3DS. The game line up is amazing and with that alone is a good reason to get one

 

How ya plannin to cop yours? And when? :>

I'm pissed off 'cuz the NDS games here are FRIGGIN' EXPENSIVE.
In the U.S, it amount to Php 1,500 - 2,500 (about 30 to 50 dollars) but here its 2,500 to 3,500 Php (maybe about 50 - 70 dollars)
PISSED OFF!

 

I'm gonna check the 3DS games first. If the 3D effects are nothing but show, then I'm not buying one.

Where do you buy your games? Data Blitz has the cheapest games at 1,500-2,500

 

And where, may I ask, is Data Blitz?
I "see" my games (I don't buy there) at Trinoma or SM, so very expensive.

Which SM? There's a Data Blitz on the top floor of of the SM department store in Megamall, its in cyberzone and there's also one in VMall in Greenhills. Here Check their website

and @dancubs I plan on buying on Data Blitz(I bought my NDS lite here too). Maybe 2 or 3 months after its release. Or whenever the nice games come out. I actually might wait a bit more, you'll never know, there might be some factory defects on the first batches

 

The major retail stores like Toy Kingdom, ToysRUs and SM Department store freaking suck and are a bunch of money mongers for charging games at an outrageous price.

Data Blitz is certainly cheaper. They're fairly common around Manila actually (there's one near my place, at a place called Marquee Mall). I bought my Tatsunoko VS Capcom there for about 2.2k. SM Department store sells it for 4k.

 

2 or 3 months is too early to say. I say 6 months because chances are, by that time, Sony would've unveiled their handheld baby, and Ninty would be on the way to creating a 2nd wave of 3DS games and even maybe a 3DS rehash.

 

Sadly original cartridges are very expensive in our country thanks primarily to our monetary unit's low value coupled with inflation & high taxes.
