Happy People Power Revolution (EDSA 1) remembrance day to everyone :)

I know most of you are too young & haven't even been born when that climactic event occurred, but be glad that you didn't as the days leading to our "Freedom", so to say was a long & tough one.

    But at what cost?

i thought it was a special non-working holiday lol. that edsa revolution was a mistake, in my opinion. freedom was abused and discipline was lost. now look at our beloved country and countrymen :p

Freedom was used, and for once, the power was actually being enforced by the people.

And now you say " now look at our beloved country and countrymen". Yes, look at them. A Democractic Republic we call this state of ours, but look at it! I say look at it! Where is the power? It's with the guy in Orange. Not with the kid eating leftovers from the trash, not with the man pushing karitons all day. It's with a few rich and powerful men and women.

the original EDSA revolution was one of the few moments in Filipino history that showed the world what we were made of.

After the revolution, the military became what we call in Filipino "pasaway". The military now joins politics. Even a military man can now become a senator and president. And even a rebel soldier can become and did become a senator and millions of stupid people voted someone who is being tried of court martial. Why do you vote someone who is being tried for a crime? Answer, Democracy.

After the revolution, democracy was reborn to the Filipinos. And now, millions of people use democracy to run our country, and look at us now.

Thank you for all the people who supported the EDSA 1 Revolution, you are the cause and effect of our country's status today.

There is nothing wrong with the Military running for government office. Where in the constitution does it state that they cannot do so?

Trillanes was a mistake. Everyone knows that. EDSA and Oakwood Coup de tat are very different things. One failed, the other triumphed. EDSA cannot be blamed for whatever the hell is happening now. EDSA did not make the guy in orange.

I was talking about Ramos, Enrile and Honasan....

Ramos was an okay president. The people never saw him incapable or improper. Enrile and Honasan? You can't blame a person's past for their present endeavors. Leave them vindicated. They're not doing anything wrong anymore.

One of the Presidential candidates of the upcoming elections here in our country Manny Villar

Oh & don't let his seemingly "Awesome" platform fool you :p

    He's so a big douchebag :p

The campaign period hasn't even started & he'd already spent 2 Billion pesos for all his douche-y political Radio & Television adverts. There was a recent audit of all the income generated by television ads & his beat adverts for food & other services :p

    So yeah, bottom line:

A vote for this douche bag guarantees even more debts to the common folk & higher taxes while he fills his greedy pockets of the money that rightfully belongs to the people.

Try telling that to Brenda, and get ready for your daily dosage of sermon to crazy ville. Ask professional people on how the 1992 election went and how he won the presidency.

And oh, by the way, where is Honasan now and his involvement during the Cory Administration and the Arroyo administration?

1992? I was born in 1992. Meh, I won't go to lengths of asking people how it was. As it is today, I don't see a trace of Honasan, which is good. And the AFP in it's current state, is better than ever.

Here lies how you fail at knowing your true identity as a Filipino. Laziness, or stubbornness to read up on your country's past. No wonder you thought OPM was the National Music of our country. So sad actually :p

Sad? I'm not sad. You drown in your sorrow in my lack of love for the past. I'm living in the moment. Exactly why I think, read THINK - present tense, OPM is the nation's music, it's 2010. Whatever you say our nation's music is, do I hear it on the airwaves? I don't think so my friend.

You're an absolute moron to think that way, or have you already forgotten one of our best known wise sayings?

"Ang di lumilingon sa kanyang pinang galingan di makakarating sa kanyang paroroonan".

    Roughly Translated to English As:

He who fails to understand his past will not know where his future will lead him to".

Also, your logic is stupid, just because you don't hear these classical music on the radio you judge them as old & useless. Now I ask you this?

Following your logic are you saying Bach, Mozart, & other classical music are worthless now?

Ooh wait 'til Moderasian gets a hold of you! :p

"Do you even listen to other music than the noise you listen to?"

Try listening to this particular AM Radio frequency & tell me I'm mistaken:

    DWAT-AM
    774 khz

Did I say that Mozart and Bach are worthless? Nope. And of course they're old, the years have past. And please don't put words into my mouth. I took the question as "The Nation's Music - What music best represents your nation, or what is the type of music most rampant in your nation?" and of course I took it into the present's context. OPM.

Did I say that I don't care about the nation's past? Nope. I just said I lack love for it, doesn't say I don't take it into consideration. There's a difference between treating something like shit and caring less about it.

An absolute moron has an IQ of 50-69. Have you seen my IQ tests, einstein?

I.Q. tests are so rellative :p

    And thus mean nothing.

And congratulations, you prove to everyone how much you are proud to be a Filipino:

Dude, lacking love for something is admitting you don't care for it period. So tell me how can you be proud of who you are if you don't care less about the bad aspects of your identity. Being proud of who you are means you accept everything about yourself & learning to overcome your faults & making something better out of it.

Heh, you only speak callously like that because you were born in a time where everything is at peace, or so it seems. Had you been born in the 70's or the 80's you wouldn't be that much of a smart ass :p
