jeeps are cheap, you get all the pollution, sweat, bruises, and ruined hair. of course trains are better, they're faster and much comfortable.

You better have not meant that! :p

I'm a firm supporter of Jeepney Drivers & Operators & am a member of both FEJODAP (Federation of Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association of the Philippines) & PCDO - ACTO (Philippine Confederation of Drivers Organization and Alliance of Concerned Transport Operations Inc.) & if you're going to bad mouth Jeepneys you'll have to answer to me :p

Most ignorant people diss on Jeepney Drivers because they do not know how hard being a Jeepney Driver is. Sure most of them only ever attain High School or Grade school education at least they are more courteous than any snobbish College brat from an exclusive College or University. Yes, some of them do drugs, but that's to keep them awake, especially if they work for 20 hours straight, & if you know how to drive, you'd know how hard it is to drive for several hours, what more if you did for almost a whole day :p

So before you bad mouth mah Jeepney Drivers better think hard.

And yeah, for you n00bs out there go read some of my older posts, the ones about me back in college when I used to be my cousin's backrider ( that's kind of like a bus conductor for you unfamilar with the term) & how we rode like the wind during rush hour.

I have a question for you Cahos about you being a firm member and believer of FEJODAP and PCDO-ACTO. Do you know the speaker that is bald and has eyeglasses? I'm really curious why when the prices of oil rises and he is asking for a fare hike, he is like Andres Bonifacio declaring war against Spain in Monumento. But when there was a roll back in prices he was like making a lot of excuses not to have the fare reduced? Citing maintenance cost, spare parts prices?

Fare Hike - Wild person look .... Fare Rollback - Tamed Pussycat look

Also, have you been to quiapo, rode the jeep there going to baclaran... why do the jeepney need to pick all the customers in quiapo but there is no terminal? why cant they just wait for 5-10 mins and went on their way..some of them take 1-more hours picking passengers just earning bad mouths from people...
