Calling all Filipino RomUlation members

Whoa, posted too quickly, completely disregarding all others before me. BTW looks like the general meaning of my post came through, though I'd appreciate it if someone with a firm understanding of the language would correct it for me, if need be. Also, I'm in Canada - don't know too much about American demographics, but in a VERY cold place in Canada, the Filipino population is quite significant (i.e. I heard Filipino songs on, for lack of a better term, English radio stations). Such a fool I was. Even without Seph's instructions, it would've been easier to mark if I provided a translation . . .

I too am a Filipino. I haven't gone home to the Philippines yet - it's already been ten years since I came here. The reason for that is a lack of money - all of mine went to tuition fees. It is because I do not want to be in debt that I dedicate all of my earnings to school. I wonder how my Grandma's doing, as well as my cousins?

Ah, I'm from Cavite, but I also lived in Tandang Sora, Quezon City. There really is a lot of Filipinos here, the whites* really have reason to fear - what they call the Filipino Invasion.

If any of you have time, please grade my post. I was about Grade 3 when I moved here, and as such, only know what a Grade 3 kid would. The "deep" sayings, as well as "Adult" topics (is that right? - "Adult Language"), obviously I do not know.
**I got 85% on my Filipino Language exam.

Incidentally, I would like to share HaseoTOD's (who goes by the name rainbow something, sorry I don't remember his new username) PM to me:

She (she says she's a girl) said she thought I was killed (drowned) during the recent floods. If that were true, 95% of Metro Manila would have been sunk like Atlantis by now ;D I live at a relatively higher place than most parts of Metro Manila as our home is near the mountainous chain that makes up most of Rizal, actually my precise location is at the northern most part of the Megalopolis at the very bounderies of Metro Manila & Bulacan, so yeah, if we did get submerged all of you other Manileños would be dead under a span of newly created/reclaimed ocean by now

So yeah don't make stupid joking remarks like that because in truth she was the one who would have gotten pwned by her PM LOL!
