i use internat explorer and firefox... i use ie when downloading andviewing movies cos it seems faster for that, ad i use firefox for viewinf text-related stuff, cos it seems to load that real quick. i cant stand firefox downloading stuff though. im just used to the ie download, i guess.

firefox 2 has that memory leak thing i often experience - using it after long periods of time and you'll find it's eaten a lot of your ram

firefox 3 aimed to solve that, and it has some cool features - but i find it generally more annoying. and internet explorer looks very taky. and apple's sorry attempt wasn't even worth a mention. opera was good and all, but i've stuck with firefox

    btw, netscape has officially ended

Don't double post, it's against the rules. You can always click modify in the corner. And of course you can't use addons for Firefox 3 since it's a beta and it's not a proper finished release.

Nobody mentioned IE haha, but i prefer IE, due to me being used to the whole scenething, other than that, nothing else, but I've heard that Firefox is more security protected, and Opera is pretty good, but terribly slow on the DS... yeah..

Of course it's slow on the DS, the DS isn't meant to be a web browser. And if you're in range of your wireless router etc. you could just go on your computer.

    believe me i hate forefox..
ff doesnt support some features that IE can offer us..

firefox supports everything IE does, apart from the features M$ added that are not part of the web standards, and as such should not be there at all. If a website looks fine in IE and not in firefox, it is because the person who made the website is an idiot and made it to work in IE, which is NOT web standards compliant. Firefox and Opera are fully standards compliant, therefore a standards compliant website will look and work the same in both with no extra effort. IE is a developer's nightmare because so many sheep still use it and so developers have to do all kinds of ugly things to their code to make it work as it should in IE, without breaking standards compliant browsers.

no matter what everyone says!! i still love IE!!

IE is terrible from webmaster's point of view, there are certain standards on the internet set down by a research group, these standards are meant to further the web and make it easier to use.

IE ignores a whole lot of them, any standard they support is older than 5 years, they support no new ones really. Without IE the web would have been much further along, who knows how advanced or well structured it would have been.

With that said though, IE does have a few advantages such as using less memory, but once FireFox 3 is released then even that is going to be void, so if you prefer IE over FireFox 3 then you're just silly or locked into your traditional ways and afraid of trying something new.

oh no! i maybe silly but i am not locked on my traditional ways and specially im not afraid of trying...
it's just that i love whatIE is providing me when i am browsing the net..

i also tried firefox but my cuzin removed it and i only use it frequently....
but if FF3 comes im also gonna try it..
me.. im just the kin of person who sticks on the thing that can offer me th best!! ^__^

Firefox is the best.. And will offer you much more than IE.. But hey, that's your decision, if you want to keep using IE, don't let us stop you. (This isn't how I talk)

Right now I use both Opera and Firefox, and both are great browsers. But it depends on preference; some people just have a thing for a IE.
By the way, has anyone tried KDE Konqueror or Safari?
