How hard is it to understand that Bonzi Buddy is dead? All download links online have been removed, it needs to connect to a server that no longer exists to install and update, and it was shut down due to being adware, spyware, malware, whichever.

 

I know that but there was 2 offline installers called: bbsetupad1 and bbsetuphom.exe!

 

And obviously there are no active download links for either, otherwise they would have been found by now.

 

Some people upload to rapidshare but they didn't upload the malware version. [email protected] may have it as he had his own website for Bonzi fans but he had to shut it down as request from Bonzi.com!

It doesn't exist.

 

You can know the exact file name and size down to the byte, but it doesn't matter. If there are no download links for it, there are no download links for it.

Those 9 links clearly explain that there is no download for it.

Some don't. Some people at another forum managed to find the Peedy installer on a FTP server.

That's the older version.

He needs bbsetupad1.exe or bbsetuphom.exe.

I made that bit in Wikipedia myself to improve the articel. I tried that version before and the Parrot came up and back in 2007 he wanted to me download a 'introduce me to Bonzi' update, 'bbsmartsetup.exe'.

So then Bonzi doesn't say:
"I was unable to determine, if there are any updates avaliable, for me just now, whilst visting my updates site. So, let's just travel there now, and check for ourseleves to see if there is a new, free update avaliable for me!"

 

So basically, you have no proof that the files you're looking for exist, and are editing Wikipedia with your useless present information. Bonzi Buddy is DEAD. D. E. A. D. No downloads exist, and if they do, you're certainly not getting them for free.

I don't get your obsession with this very child oriented program.

 

Can't you just set an option so it doesn't check for updates?

Plus if it says that then it doesn't mean that 4.0 is out, it means that it can't gain connection with the site!

We are searching for an setup file while it is just a connection error...

usually with most programs, there's an option in the .INI file that allows you to disable automatic updates, which should solve your problem...because based on that, no matter the version, it will always want to check..
