I've eaten a lot of stuff in my life. As long as it,s not bugs, I'd most probably eat it.

 

I eat lots of asian food, including brain and other stuff. I just said pig brain!

If you've been reading most of my topics you would probably notice that I always make up cute titles for them.

Bon Apetite is a title with a hidden meaning, that is if you know how "to read between the lines". I do know that Bon Appetit (sorry I don't know how to make the fancy "e") is an expression meant for the enjoyment of food. I used apetite as a means to "put off" the expression, that is, to make it an expression of disgust.

Hope most of you got that, 'cause I really love playing with words

Right, anyway, another weird dish is probably rice steamed with deer's blood. UGH. I saw a couple of places serving that. Never bothered to try.

 

You should give it a try, some food looks yuck but then when you taste it, it might be good.

 

They say blood gives food a certain sweetness, like how some people must have cockle blood in their fried noodles :/

 

how about Tidtad/Dinaguwan, it's pig's blood... it actually tastes really good, and doesn't look disgusting... the ingrdients beg to differ though

i had the most horrible thing the other day. now i normally like marmite (yeast extract) but for valentines day they made a special one with champagne in and it was the most vile thing i have ever put in my mouth

 

Argh, that sounds nasty. Has anyone had this asian dish that is like ground up fish and stock with noodles? It tastes really good but it put me off when I first tried it since it looks like sewer water.

 

i'm glad i don't live in asia some of the stuff out there sounds desgusting but then again there is duck chowmain so all is not so bad

 

Ohh Im currently in Australia and am enjoying my self-cooked kangaroo meat. It's really not that bad.
