Ox tongue in mushroom soup is really good, we call it Lengua. Pork innards or gizard in soy vinegar sauce we call Igado or kinilaw

 

Oh yeah, and like Solus said, alligator is really good.

Is Alligator meat similar to monitor lizard meat? ??? I'd had that once but it was kinda tough to chew even if it was well done.

Python meat, strange as it maybe kinda taste like chicken, honest!!

(I ate....ehm what are they called again?......Grasshoppers right? they were covered in burned sugar.. crispy and sugary actually very nice thing to eat)

Yeah I ate the python meat in strips. Aside from tasting like chicken, it's a little slimy. Or maybe it was something else in the soup

 

Alligator meat was fine. I had it once when I was traveling (never actually saw any eateries selling it back home). Tastes like chicken. Really. Fishy chicken. :

Frog is pretty good too. I know some people get grossed out at the idea of eating frog, but I find that its texture is like crab meat, but more "tight", like maybe chicken.

Gosh, I'm relating everything to chicken.

Its probably an acquired taste, but i like it. Especially in porridge.

 

I hate century egg. It leaves some sort of acidic taste in your mouth

Here in NZ we dont have many gross food customs, but we eat fish 'n' chips wrapped in newspaper on the beach. its a tradition.

However, you do have us to thank for the kiwifruit, the kumara, anchor and fonterra dairy products and the ever tasty pavlova.
