ff6, 7, 8 and 9 all have great stories and all beat your top game in the list, chronotrigger
knights of the old republic 2 TSL should get a mention and definately lufia 2

 

I liked Resident Evil 4

 

I LOVE the Bioshock storyline- Bioshock 2 has a storyline that is just as good and heartfelt. Must admit almost cried at the end of the good ending.

 

God Of War is also pretty good, but too many virtual t*tties

Seriously people,this poll is about what is the best story in video game.Not the best story in 2 video games+it's anime or CG film.Yeah,if you watch and play it in the right order,it's good.

also i can't forget the experiences while played GTA san andreas.

 

Chrono Trigger gets my vote the game pulls me in the story the gameplay, the characters, and let's not forget the awesome music my favorite is when you get on the epoch Chrono Trigger gives me a mysterious exciting feeling that no game has ever given to me.

 

best story game for me is castlevania! all series of that game is awesome even in GBA but not on the old game boys it sucks

uhh, i dunno.. i mean i love chrono trigger, it's 2nd on my all time favorite RPGs, but its not because of the story.

i give the story a 7.5 out of 10.

 

Heavy Rain's got a decent enough storyline. Bioshock is also a good one.

Personally, FFXIII's storyline seems somewhat linear and complicated.
