Dot Hack only if you like dungeon crawlers. Kingdom Hearts obviously. But face it, the final fantasies on the PS2 sucked pretty much.
I loved Shin Megami Tensai : Persona 3 was really amazing and of course Final Fantasy XII was very good as well.
Kingdom Hearts! Soul Calibor III Is pretty awsome to, one of the best fighting games for ps2 in my opinion Final fantasy games- Pretty awsome to. they last for a hundred years ;D God of war 2- This game is so awsome, Bloody as hell action game, me and my good freind played this alot Playstation 2 Doesent have many good Rpg Games. but id say KH 1 and 2 Kicks Ass and final fantasy is Not bad...
From an RPG point i'd say the Shin Megami Tensai games made by Atlus, most of them are awesome such as Nocturne, Persona 3 and Digital Devil Saga etc
seeing how there are only 3 installments on the ps2, the suckiest would have to be X-2. I don't think you think that FFX was utter crap, because it really wasn't for its time. I can say that FF7 graphics suck ass, but for its time, it was epic. FFXII doesn't have anything too special besides the revamped battle mechanics, which remind me more of MMORPG style gameplay without the MMO. Vaan was such a retard, REVOLUTION!
god of war - it's a very weird situation with this game as it's only a hack and slash game similar to onimusha, yet people go wild for it. yet again there are other hack and slash type games which clones it and it fails. what the hell?! shadow of the colossus ico the best silent hill version is probably silent hill 3 as it has a relation to the first silent hill. all the original resident evil releases for the ps2 suck [outbreak 1,2, deadly aim, etc....]. resident evil 4 doesn't count because it's an "improved" port of the gamecube version and code veronica is a dreamcast port. btw, gran turismo 4 sucks. 1, 2 for ps1 were great because it was a new take on the racing simulation and was better then the others. 3 was great because it was an improvement of the second. after that it was all about looks [in my pov]. also the game became too serious [in my pov] and that made it boring. i'd rather play need for speed.
GT4 (and GT5P) are too "professional" type racing. for instance, why is it so damn hard to do a burnout? (front wheel drive cars just put on the E-brake and go) the RPMs don't tach up right. why isn't there any external customization besides a spoiler? there's hardly any engine customization (no swaps?) The GT5 physics are decent though. Damn japanese put in 4 different types of 350Zs and only bother to include one model of the viper, no camaro concept, no dodge challenger, no shelby gt500. psh. Forza 2 was fun, just needed better physics and smarter non-computerish AI, needed to get rid of the dumb ricey forza bodykits, and needed a drag strip... I shouldn't even bother buying GT5 when it comes out.

I can't stand Soul Calibur 3, the fighting is so slow paced. You forgot about DQ VIII. The tenth FF is decent, X-2 is a complete let down. The twelfth was nice, too. I agree with the Sly series, fantastic concept. But DBZ Tenkaichi was crap, very slow paced. The Budokai ones were great, my favourite DBZ of all time is Budokai 3. The only bad part is the lack of characters.
Sly is an awesome series, the fat hippo guy is the man. Yeah they're childish, but it entertains me. Even with the bad graphics.
