Its taken me this long to work through my ps2 games collection, I haven't played every game but all the popular ones and rpg's I have.

I have to say the game I enjoyed most and got properly addicted to was Persona 4.

I put so much time into that game. I didn't really enjoy SA much, though; I felt it tried to be too much and nothing really worked very well, it had far too much filler.

I'm going to cheat a little for my favourite PS2 game and say the PS2 port of Deus Ex. I actually prefer the PS2 port over the non-modded PC version. Even though areas are split into sections that have to load individually, aiming with the PS2's analogue sticks with an acceptable degree of accuracy was almost impossible and the game was censored in a few minor ways; I prefer it because a lot of the things that were unnecessarily complex in the PC version were simplified in the PS2 version (like whether or not bullets "hit" even when they make contact with an NPC, main character body-location damage, the character upgrade process etc). Also, I'm lazy and prefer using a joypad to move around to using my fingers on a keyboard

 

Isnt that the best selling ps2 game of all time.

.Hack GU 1,2 & 3 (havnt played the other .hacks but i imagine they are good too)
Persona 3 and 4 ( 4 is better than 3 imo)
I....suppose Final Fantsy 12...tho i rate it as just barely above X2(which is really bad)
Radiata Stories as well
oh and Dark Cloud 1 and 2 both were pretty good

 

yup nothing beats Okami (for me ) and the best horror (for me again ) is Fatal Frame; yeah even though it's not that scary i still like it because i always try to get a fatal frame ;D



but for me the best game I ever played was MSG3 just loved it!! ;D
