    DMZ is a Demiltarised Zone, which in networking terms is a section of the network that is outside a firewall because it needs to be accessible from the web, but because it is on the 'wrong' side of the firewall, if a machine in the DMZ gets compromised it is no threat to the rest of the network behind the firewall. Having a DMZ should not make any difference performance wise

    I used to use torrents but now I have a rapidshare premium account and do all my downloading through that. There are some really good blogs that are updated the second things are released. Obviously you have to pay for the rapidshare account but for me it's worth it as I have a slow internet conection and can't afford to share my bandwith with uploads.

    thats also why i use utorrent because you can decide the upload limit so its next to nothing

    ^ though its best to have it around 15/20kbps otherwise some trackers will limit your download speed.

    www.rlslog.net is a good site for all the latest scene releases

    A good place to find torrents is ScrapeTorrent. It searches all the major torrent websites all at once.
