Pokémon games tend to have the same feel of gameplay when it comes to the story, but the depth of Pokémon battles only deepens as time goes and more games are released. *But as a note, I comment on the Pokémon game series as a whole. Metroid Prime: Hunters - Arguably the best FPS for the DS. Multiplayer is its real forte. Bleach - Blade of Fate & Bleach - Dark Souls - Deepest fighting game so far for the DS, which makes it the best. There's really more on MY list, but IMO, the best DS games should be judged from all angles, which limits the list I have here. Layton series fails because of its lack of replay - thus limiting lifespan. Same goes for some other mentionable titles out there. This is one such angle. Scribblenauts also fail because of its touchy controls and a 'missing' factor. "The game lacks something." I'm sure some players felt that way about Scribblenauts.
you put that perfectly. You can only decide what the best DS game is based on which angle you look at the games from. Therefor there could really be about 10 (or more) different games that would be considered the best DS game out there.
This thread is more for letting people know what games are worth playing rather than actualy finding the best DS game out there.
I think I'll post the games that aren't very popular which are worth a try. (Or maybe I am the one who haven't heard from them till now...anyways. ^_^) Here are some of the games: RPG: *Monster Lab (You get to create your own monster and pit them to other Monsters. It Lacks depth on story but the battle is interesting. It's like front mission in terms of battle). *Master of the Monster Lair *Zubo (If you want some relaxing game. ^^). *Naruto Path of the Ninja 1&2 *Orcs and Elves (I have enjoyed this game. Though, I haven't finished the game yet.) Adventure Games: *Broken Sword_Shadow of Templars *Hotel Dusk 215 *Time Hollow (It got a unique story than any other adventure game) Miscellaneous: *Glory Days 2 (Fun for short break) *Sonic Rush *Robocalypse (RTS game) *Air Traffic Chaos
