Best Nintendo DS Games - Read First

I gotta go with Mario Kart DS

 

appreciate all the work put into this topic, it helps a lot when i'm looking at almost 3000 points and a nearly empty r4 card. Anyone have any reccomendations for the lesser known games. Ones that didn't get a lot of press or that simply aren't well known. I usually have a lot of fun with games like that. Some of my faves..

Bangai-o spirits - found this one a little riduculous, but i love the funny comments made by the people in game

Suikoden Tierkreis - gotta love a game where i'm level 24, less than halfway through the game, and am already have almost 30 playable charachters.

avalon code - for some reason, despite a terrible control method, I love this game, can't get away from it

fire emblem - shadow dragon - i played this one before when it was fire emblem 1, back on the nes emulator, but it's still good with the enhanced graphics. It's no sealed sword though...

yugi-oh 5ds - only out in japanese version, but it has an english translation built in... just downloaded it, so i'll give it a try.

 

i find this game pretty fun at the moment - some classic games in there

Here are the reasons why I love my NDS.

detective: Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice and Time Hollow (NDS owns this genre)
first person: Dementia Ward looks really good!
TBS: Final Fantasy Tactics A2, Advance Wars, Super Robot Wars W, Super Robot Wars K (it's out now too!)
RPGs: Final Fantasies, Phantom Hourglass and The World Ends With You
RTS: Lost Magic, Lock's Quest and FFXII - Revenant Wings (we need more decent RTS!)
Sim: Rune Factory 2.. it's really good

.. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D SAWC 2009 rocks. It's (J) here but it's actually multilingual.
I love strategy games, and that's DS's forte. ^^

 

It's March 24 and still waiting for FF- Echoes of Time. DUMP IT ALREADY.

 

my favorite games are the phoenix wright/apollo justice games they all follow on from each other and have great story lines. Also one of my other favorite games is kirby power paintbrush(dont no what the american name is) i thought it was really good especially for an early ds game.

well for nintendo ds/gameboy i personally think the the Pokemon franchise will always be the best.
The good pokemon games like blue silver ruby platinum you get my deift no ranger or mystery dungeon.
