your a mong, dou you know how many people turn up to inovation in the sun every year? drum and bass has almost as many songs as rockand has been around for half as long. just because your too lame to ever enter a club it doesn't mean decent music doesn't exist.

my bad i meant to say that dnb has been around half as long as rock i weren't paying attention coz i was on the phone, anyway my point was dnb hasn't been around long but has like the fastest gowing following, its always getting better. i love rock i blast it at home and haves seen live bands but i blast dnb and have been to a dnb rave too and it wins and btw you should have mentioned the who in my opininon they are the first original rock band they started the smashing guitars thing hendrix actually started doing that after jamming with them.

Hendrix back stage said he'd pull everything out to show them up XD
Becasue the Who didnt wanna follow hendrix because theyd look shite after him

The Who smashed up there Gear etc etc

Hendrix came out and played behind his back with his teeth and set his guitar on fire etc etc
Every guitarists of that era put there guitar down lololol

But still all those tricks where done by buddy guy back in the 40's and 50's

1953 consisted of post war blues,t bone walker,muddy waters etc etc

Rock comes from folk,and folk started as early as 1880 all the way up to dylan in 1965,hendrix was playing blues until 1966 til he changed to a completly new sound unheard of before.
A few years before hand the who and yardbirds where staring the scene

But rock wasnt out in the 50's no way,its was all Black American Blues like lonnie johnson,white country like johnny cash,and gospel,but no rock

But things like rock and roll and early detla blues hold the same beat that rock inherited,but still isnt rock.
