hahaha, i also use that combo! Avg Internet security + Malwarebytes + Spybot S&D... i dont use ZoneAlarm cause it a firewall and AVG Internet security already has it. And I used it once and i really hate the irritiating pop-ups of zonealarm that it blocks this and that.

Edit: Oh yeah, I do a cccleaner first then i scan. Because if I scan first, i would see the tracking cookies, which avg thinks is a threat. But ccleaner cleans it first.

My only distress is the keygen/patches for installers that malwarebytes detects in my portable harddrive. The most funny one it detected was in the malwarebytes installer folder it says: Don't steal/pirate our software.malware.... lol

I use Microsoft Security Essentials and it blocked any incoming infected files....

    Also it has real-time protection.

theres no need to pirate mbam, its free.

winterreise once pirated a free firewall software and ended up with a major virus infestation because the software itself was infected. If he'd just got the official version then that would never have happened.

Oops I forgot about CCleaner as I have it too.

Also have Hijackthis installed, just in case something's a miss.

Also about AVG detecting tracking cookies, you can have AVG exempt tracking cookies from its scans be unticking it on AVGs Resident shield & Scanner settings.
