best anti virus program? and OS upgrade question

    malwarebytes real time protection isnt free. KIS was £15 when I bought it last year, but the best paid AV hands down is NOD32.

    Yes,I worded it a bit wrong.MBAM free,but he could pay for pro to get the real time protection if needed.

    I paid £25 for KIS a year ago for 3 user kit from PC world.I seen a 1 user kit for 2011 for £37 in Staples,which I think is a rip-off.

    nod32 has been near the top for a few years,I wonder if it will ever get to no.1 LOL

    well about malware bytes, im sure the university has the program for sale, there is a hallway where always i buy either stuff for the comp, books, laws, or even wii games so its not a problem for me to get the stuff, and we dont works with euros or $ we work with Bsf

    LOL,that was the sale price.The normal price then was around £40.But my brother in law gets keys off eBay for £5 a pop.

    In my opinion, if you're cheap (like me XD) get Avast. AVG is horrible and it slowed my PC to a crawl.

    If you're willin to pay, get ESS(Eset smart security 4)

    Otherwise, I've heard good things about AVG free, and Microsoft Security Essentials.
