When you say year, I expected you to choose from the only three consoles right now. And besides, the topic title asked for 2000-2009.
RED came out recently.

 

LOL I remember when I had complaints about that. and then I grew up.

 

ok then...well no console to this date...i dislike every console now, the reason being:

But recently there have been allot of war games coming out (maybe the last year or two), what ever happened to originality.
I mean there are your GOF and LITTLEBiGPlanet games, but that does not do justice....
so, no console....

 

Because the only games on consoles are "war games".

Not really, there are quite a few FPS in general on the PS3, but there are also a lot of sports games, some rpgs, etc.

What the hell? PS2 qualifies since it was released between 2000-2009. It still lives today.

I'm more of a Nintendo guy myself, so I was (and still sorta am) more into cartoonish looking characters.
except the psp i have some of those.
The PS2 did not entrigue me back then since i taught that it was too complicated (the controls as well as the game play)
I like rgp's as well, but im not basing my decision on that alone as you can see...Long Live Fire Emblem! rip

The GCN and PS2 have around the same amount of buttons lol. The reason you always see War games ads is because their companies love advertising them, if other companies put as much into advertising then you would see ads for them too. Like when i would see the awesome SSB commercial on tv for the N64, and the Mario Party 1 commercial.
