I should slit yopur wrist...idiot. We can ether call emo's insane unstable being or morons. That's all there is. THe only reson I'm even here is because I am partially emo (emotionaly that is...ot self inflicted pain..why bother when your own body has enough problems) and am friends with one.
Enlight me on this one, man :-\ . I mean, ain't everyone emotional? What's the the difference between the "emo emotional" and the emotion that a "non-emo" feels? I never got how that works, really. I mean, emo, for me, as it is, is just another name for the post-hardcore/punk musical style. I know some emo dudes, but seriously, I never got what made them emo.
Prehaps the right word for me and my friend are 'depressive". She acts as if her world is awsome, but when online, it's apparent (and from what I heard from her-and her friends) that her life sucks, not many people cry when chatting on msn... And after my experiences, I went from not caring about anyone other than me, to being happy as can be, to "the world sucks wish it hurry up and die already". Oh...it can also be tied to music preferances (she's into the punk stuff-I'm more into full on metal but she got me into paramore) but also bits here and there of physical pain. To hurt yourself in some form is a definet sign, I can never do that because I am always in some sort of pain, I can be in a great mood but my knee/ear is always on fire You know what though, if the word "emo" never existed, we would just call these people depressive souls, a more fitting term. This topic ain't going anywhere, if any mods are watching, do what you did to my topic and close it, it's only gonna bring hate and confusion.
This is in the debates section afterall. We are all the same yet different. We all have feelings whether they be depressive or not. These Stereotyped individuals, these so called emo's tend to not hide it like everyone else. How can I set you straight when neither of us know what is right? Emo is just a slang word nowadays, we give it our own meaning. And thus I leave this thread. [me=Snebbers]leaves this thread[/me]
