Or the fact that they are sub-consciously asking for large amounts of attention, at times.

Then again a stereotype is just a label, and is pretty much just as bad as racism. We're all people, we all have hearts, our own dreams and our own problems. It doesn't really matter how someone dresses.

Everyone has a steretype,and people are so quick to make judgements and make fun of others,because we have nothing better to do,then be complete assholes towards people we dont even know.

Thats just the way the world is today.Sad

 

Pretty much it, the world is a nasty place. You can't go outside with people making stereotypes about you, even if they don't know they are doing it. I'm often considered an Emo for being thoughtful and sensitive. Which makes me laugh and when people ask me why I laugh, it's simply because I don't believe in stereotypes.

Which is why I usually keep to myself or talk to very few people, kind of ironic that I spend quite a lot of time on this forum, even if I don't post a lot.

What's to hate about emo? I got emo friends and they are cool. Well I don't call them EMO but some do

 

I like how the attention whore comment is being completely overlooked. When it just becomes a 'look' or a 'style' it becomes "Scene."

The Emo thing is attention whoring, claiming their lives are awful, when in fact they are quite alright.
