GO GO GO ARSENAL ! The doctor (Arsene Wenger) is saying the truth when he replies to the press that "His Squad is strong enough"
Great thread. I am huge Liverpool fan. Very sad to see them go down twice already, and to think that last season we only lost 2 games the WHOLE season and we still didn't win the title. I feel that's bad enough already. Our form will improve and we will finish near the top though. Man City will not be that great this season, neither will Man United. Arsenal will also lose steam towards the end. Chelsea will win the league I think, but here is hoping that Liverpool come close. Prediction: 1) Chelsea 2) Manchester United 3) Liverpool 18) Hull 19) Burnley 20) Portsmouth
Well I think sim is right, its not gonna be a great season for both Liverpool and ManU. I honestly don't think this will be a great year for United, we just lost 2 game changers (Tevez and Ronaldo) and the same is true for Liverpool (Xabi Alonso). Its gonna take some time for both teams to get used to not having these players to rely on. Not to mention the upcoming increase of fixtures due to the Cup fixtures and Champions League games, those are gonna put a toll on the player who are already tired. The best team this year seems to be Chelsea, which is never a good thing when Chelsea looks good from the start. Its gonna be an uphill battle for both Liverpool and ManU this year. But somehow, I know my team will do well.
When you look at Chelsea's team and all the options they have coming off the bench....It's insane. When they rest the likes of Ballack, Essien, Anelka... Man United and Liverpool did lose great players dmac, that's why I think we will not be as strong, and the replacements we got are nowhere near as classy as the one's we lost (Valencia does not equal Ronaldo; Aquilani does not equal Alonso). Will just have to wait and see. I do think we will both pick up form but Chelsea look way too good. So do Arsenal but they do not have the depth for a 38 game season + League cup + FA Cup + Champions League. All I can say is that I will get my revenge when I get Football Manager 2010
