I love this thread, all the United haters just make me feel better. I really do hope your respective teams do well, and I have to say there are some promising teams to look forward to. However, the team that still stands out is United for the following reasons: the players that have been cast aside due to Ronaldo's huge shadow will be given a chance to shine, the new signings of Obertan and Owen bring both experience and youth to the squad, the return of beasts like Hargreaves and Wes Brown, lastly the team works really well.

I am not going to say which team sucks and which team does not, but I will say this: this year is the one that solidifies United as a legendary squad, say what you want about the fans, and players, but as a team they play well. Just grow a pair, try to act mature and admit it. Simple. :)

@dmac : your avatar shows that you are Man Utd fan. :)

Hargreaves had been injured for about half a season last season. Many people think his injuries will haunt him again this season.
Wes Brown also lacks in concentration while defending, Rafael seems to be much better than him even he's still young.

It's not us playing the game eh?

I hope Hargreaves will be over this injury, but an operation on BOTH knees might take its toll on him. As for Wes, he's got a crunching tackle, good attack and great passing. He's done quite well for the past 3-4 years. For Rafael, he's still too young for me to solidify the RB position, he's got great attack, but doesn't track back quick enough, plus the stamina is not there for 90 mins. He'll turn out fine in about 3-4 years with good training.

As for Rafael twin brother, Fabio..have yet making a debut. :(
I thought they will get some star player like Sergio Aguero after Ronaldo leave the club...
I can't guaranteed that Nani can take over Ronaldo places, as his performance isn't consistent...
Park Ji-Sung have high stamina but really horrible when comes to body balance...

    lol

he is an old injured fag

    he is better in LP

when he entered Man U, a high expectation is set toward him
and I think he couldn't accomplished the expectation

    Date : 9th August 2009
    [15:00][N] Manchester United v Chelsea

yeah i agree that either side could win, but i'd say united win by that sneaky goal in the dying moments of the match like they love to do
