Seriously, your parents are way too overprotective. They punish you when an ad pops up that just says the word "sex"? Try explaining them that ads pop up at random or something.

You could use addblock+ it vclears away most banners and might solve your problem.

On many sites where I sit are also the Evony Ads. Funny way to attract people to their game, or not :p? I just thought it was something else .

Oh, that sucks. There is far worse stuff on the net and you can't control which ad's you see.

I think we can call the attempt to block the evony ads a fail, they keep coming back.

Adblock plus subscriptions seem to always work.

Its the IRC ad that's bothering your parents? Seriously, that's my favourite. "Let the good times roll". Ha! Pure classic.

But yeah, try explaining that it's only a joke ad or something.

The best ad-blocker comes with Kaspersky IS it blocks every single "unwanted" ad without you having to do anything. The reason I say "unwanted" is because ads like the one mentioned above are still there. Kaspersky has a huge database of all the links to ads you can edit the list if you want but it's done automatically! I haven't seen an ad in years lol. but yeah for free Adblock Pro is good the only difference is I think you have to block the banners yourself in Adblock Pro but it will definitely keep you from being punished haha

you dont have to manually block stuff in ABP, but its an option.

Loony's pro with stuff like this.
It's him who set me up with it, basically you can get subscriptions which are pre-listed blocks.

just need to add, the word 'subscription' is slightly misleading (even though that is the name that is used). There is no payment involved. basically the subscription is a list of blocks that are maintained, and by subscribing you automatically get updated lists when they are updated.

lol what? Dude just go on when they arent there. And honestly i dont see how ads (if not featuring porno) can cause punishment when you're on the internet its everywhere. Like this honestly the weirdest problem I have ever heard
