    yes well his avatar is 3MB, 5 mins loading a page just because of an avatar...? F**k.

    ha, try it for 3 years on a 56k connection it was torture

    I was on a 28.8k connection from 1994 to 1998. Then the phone company upgraded all of the phone lines around us to fiber optics, and we actually were able to connect a the full 56k. Then in 2000 the cable company started offering 256k cable connections.

    Now I have a 5mbit cable connection. I can't believe I ever played with 28.8k as a kid (It worked well enough for Starcraft though).
