Mac is better if you want no viruses, though.

True, thankfully nobody cares about mac enough to make viruses for it, I guess the hackers figure that Mac owners are already suffering enough ;)
Just kidding, put the torches away.

And anyway, you just need a proper antivirus software, an adware software and a decent firewall and you're good to go XD

Meh. I think macs are mostly trendy these days. Artists usually use macs because they think they look more professional. Everything available for a mac is available for a PC that has to do with the graphic and audio industries. :p

    PC ftw!!
best thing I've seen done in recent macs is the ability to run windows.
last I checked the damn thing couldn't run exes by themselves you had to trick it into thinking an exe was a cd.
There's plenty of good A/V programs for pc they just don't come with it.

The only thing that is truly attractive about Macs for me are the buttons on the web browser for close, minimize, and such. As for the war between Microsoft and Apple, considering how different the two Os's are, I think they ca co-exist peacefully for now. Oh wait, no, Apple had to go and make those commercials...

I am a PC, but mainly because that is all i've ever known.

    I'm a linux box :D

This isn't true, same for mac, just because there have been no virus' found, doesn't mean there it can't be true.

You can feel the wind, but you can't see it.

Also, linux, without proper security measures you're bound to get rooted :|

PC running Linux. I hate how those commercials make it sound like PC = Windows. There are plenty of operating systems that can be put on a PC. As a matter of fact, it's pretty silly to even try to differenciate between a PC and a Mac, now that the Macs use the same kinds of hardware as a PC.

    PC&Windows. C:
Can't really play my MMO's on a Mac, and I grew up with Windows, so I'm more accustomed to it. :].

Sadl, I am a PC... I wish I were a Mac, because I do a lot of music and video editing, and I just can't afford to pay for any of the decent PC applications that come free in a Mac...

Who said it comes free? It's included in the overinflated price you pay for the hardware.
