    Another good turned based RPG would be Wild Arms for the PSX.

    Wild Arms is by far one of the greatest RPGs ever created. Give it a whirl you will not regret it.

    XenoGears is also a good one for the PSX.

    Both games are epic.

    The Wii sucks for the kinda gameplay you want.
    PSX, PS2, XBOX, GBA, DS are all good for what you want.
    360 and PS3 have more games then the Wii that have to do with oldschool combat systems but not by much.
