I use Adobe Elements. It's great and simple. I love video editing.

So adobe premier is better for someone serious on video editing then? is that what it's called? and what's like the latest version? I'm getting interested in adobe.

    Alright check it out

Premiere is a video editing program which is used to put together a video

Elements is a cut down simpler version of Premiere which is meant to be easy to use, sorta like windows movie maker but its not a pile of crap.

After Effects is a whole different program not meant for video editing. After Effects purpose is to make special effects and other cool stuff to a video.

Its great to combine a video editing program like premiere or Vegas with After Effects so you can take clips from your video and add special effects and then put it back in your video.

    Hopefully that clears stuff up.
