Anyone ever ride any boards? (anykind)

I find ripsticks a little odd. No offence. They seem uncontrolled.
I'd love to skate to school, but with my 'label' I would get eaten alive.

 

I used to skateboard, but that was ages ago. These days if I get enough free time to make it to the beach I prefer surfing. Learned on a long board and bought a short. Not a nice transition, and I made a fool of myself for awhile before getting the hang of it.

Go longboards!!!! I have just taken the trucks + wheels of my long board and jammed them on my skateboard. Now i have some kind of magical hybrid board. It goes quite fast but I'm not sure what will happen if I attempt a trick.

 

I used to surf but I don't have a board anymore :'(
I'm strictly stuck to boogie boarding now which isn't as fun (nor as dangerous) as surfing.

 

i skated in my teens but sucked at any tricks, but i did used to go mountain boarding with a friend which was awesome fun. i only used to go cruising down massive hills it was good fun and the stacks were massive.

 

I like to use the ironing board.

been skating forever. ive kept almost all of my decks since. i have a stack of dead soldiers (broken decks) almost two feet high.
