Thanks gryphoondawn.i liked your selection, D.N. Angel rocks. But putting that aside, consider that, the anime and manga audience may be growing every year, but we still are a minority group. this leads in certain cases to social incompatibility, where people mock you for watching anime and reading manga. the most obvious reason is that the general public in most of the world are woefully unaware of the existance of anime. also those who have heard about anime usually dismiss it as something for kids. very few people actually investigate the true nature of anime from that point. what anime and manga need is proper advertising and distribution models if this media is to achieve true world recognition. for example DBZ, when it aired in my country, few if any, realized the true nature of what they were watching! mainstreaming it on the net is cool, but what about the rest of the world without net access.

Advertising, indorsing, and distribution of a product cost alot of money in the film industry and it is like taking a risk. The anime might be good but people wont try it. It is a compitition for the endorsers of the stock market to take a risk to gain a profit. Also, the community must be consider as a major basis (location, economy, likes of people on a location etc...). almost every month, there is a new anime and manga but most of them crappy and only few of those are good.

dont try season, try to pick short stories anime or anime and avoid the anime that keeps on increasing the story. It usually have a nice episodes on the beginning like inuyasha. It have a nice opening and story but too long so the first part was enough to watch and proceed to the final movie(if they have one)
