Anime Reviews [Suggestion]

I suppose I could write up some reviews, if need be, but as I said before, perhaps there should just be a single thread for it all. We could either have a special "team" of reviewers (like ANN), or enforce review standards as in the existing reviews board. If we have one per post, then the first post in the thread could be organised with links to each one, like a table of contents. This would solve the "problem" of creating an entire new board. On the other hand, one or more mods may be required to keep the thread nice and clean.

 

Well I just finished a review and I hope it's good, cause it's my first one ever
now should I make a new thread for it?

I think every review should at least have animation. characters and sound as review criterias

 

May as well stick with AniDB's review categories: animation, sound, story, character, value, enjoyment. I don't quite see the "worth" in the "value" category, though (c wut i did thar?).

 

I hope the mods can make a new section for it.

 

I think enjoyment can be added to that, but the enjoyment part can be added in the Overall section at the end, where you usually conclude and add your opinion, thus the enjoyment

and by story do you mean story development or story-telling?
or maybe both?

You actually don't need to put that much points in a review...

 

Just put the related one.
Genre is a must of course.

Former mods?

For sentai, the animation category is the only redundant one (excluding the already mentioned value category). It could still be replaced with "visuals" or "camerawork" or something, though.

cause I want to see a good review, to make mine better, but I dont know which one are good or not

 

I've reviewed games and such before, but not anime. I usually just read reviews, rather than write them. I guess I could give it a whirl, but I'll be kinda busy for the next couple of weeks.

 

nah it's fine, if your busy, dont neglect work for something as trivial >_<
