It was microscopic & was only discovered while it was being examined for it's content, or what elements &/or compounds it was made of.
Some one has to be first. Who says were not the first? we could be the first and only. See how long it took for use to come about. Although, the carving of an Apache gunship on a column on the interior of a tomb in the valley of the kings has to mean something.
Actually we, ourselves, may in fact be aliens! One theory holds that, at the time the earth was created meteorites were hitting the earth at a constant rate. Now, most of these asteroids came from other planets as they too were being created. Most of those meteorites were just big hunks of rocks, however, a few of them held bacteria and other minerals not found on earth. As these "life catalysts meteorites" landed in the oceans, the bacteria and the minerals in the rocks mixed together with the minerals in the seas to form amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein and life as we know it! Personally, I believe that aliens exist outside our galaxy but I don't believe that they have made contact with earth....yet.
According to the scientologists, we are. One day a big mothership is going to come and pick us up so we can go home Despite the creator of scientology publicly admitting it is a hoax to make him money, idiots like tom cruise still believe it.
is there a youtube video or a direct source of this information?! *i hope you do or you can find one on the net. it would make all of us laugh at these people.
maybe aliens are just like us and haven't been able to invent something that allows galactic travel? Aliens don't have to be scary or weird looking. If the conditions of life are about the same, they should technically look something more familiar.
Ahem, I would like to be the first to state that if there was no other alien life, then wouldn't space, technically, be a waste of space? There has to be some other life out there, I can feel it (They talk to me in my dreams xD)
personally, i approach this topic with a healthy bit of skepticisim. first off, I believe that it's a little arrogant of us to believe that we're the only intellegent race in the universe. As to whether they're out there, I believe they are, but as to whether they're visiting us now, I'm not so sure. Though I do look at some of our technology and go "How did they figure that out. The microchip being the main one. Who decided to put thousands of connecting and tracer points on a piece of silicon the size of a postage stamp. Some outside inspiration may have had some influence on that. -jason
we would be how do u say simple minded if we do belive that we r the only race in the region of space no i do belive there is something out there but god only knows what and if he even exits this god fellow
Why is everybody so convinced that we can't be the only life in the universe? Because it is logical? How do we know that logic as we know it, is logical? Why do we so readily believe that the universe follows a predefined set of rules? Logic is entirely a human creation. It's related to how our brains work... So maybe we just create these rules so as not to feel out of our depth. The universe throws countless strange and bizarre things at us. We see them every day. Perhaps God or whoever or whatever created the universe decided to throw this one huge curve ball...maybe we are the only life in the universe, and we'll be searching for eternity to no end
I'm convinced we're not the only, because I find it more likely than being all alone. Well, maybe we are only one and maybe we are not. Everything's possible. Nontheless, if there is someone we'll sure find out.
Why? Given the age and size of the universe, and the comparitively short life cycle that biological species tend to have, is it not 'logical' to think we will never find out??
I totally believe that we are not alone in the universe. We may just be living in an oasis surrounded by an empty galactic desert. Are they visiting us now? Can't really say one way or the other, but if they are (and that thought scares me a little), then I hope it's under good intentions.
