It would be a huge mistake as iran is hugely "anti-U.S" and as far as i know the president supports this. Keep in mind that iran has one of the largest Nuclear weapons/ICBM arsenals in the world and i dont think the president would be afraid to use these on the U.S or Europe in that matter.
