Just don't fuck whores and it's all good.

You can if you look like me.

This isn't true at all. I don't think I need to elaborate, but I will if it's needed.

Is this at all relevant or just random?

    ------------

Porn is still awesome though. Suiseiseki is also (shhhhhhh don't mention anything about my "experience").

Not particularly, especially since one knows to take what I say with a grain of salt.

Oh I thought adult content like paying taxes and interfacing withthe boss. haha.

Anyway, patches don't count towards a games rating. A games rating is not affected by what people do with the game after its released.

sexual content is fine because they label games with age restriction labels and as long as parents stay responsible the content in video games should not be a problem

If you look at the today's commercials (where ever, TV, papers etc.) it is noticeable that there are few 'actor categories' (or 'presentation agents') widely used in marketing:

    1. women (used everywhere, be it a medicine, cosmetic or any other product such as computer - smiling woman is obviously mostly used concept)
    2. children (often used for food products or toys - commercials targeted at women)
    3. you'll-be-loved-and-interesting-if-you-have-this-product(tm) (commercials for cars etc.)

It is no wonder that we can find porn in some aspect in many games also. It is generally believed that majority of population who play games are males (of any ages) and as it is evident from many posts in this very thread, marketing experts are correct in their assumptions that adding a little 'animal thrill' will make the product (game title) more desirable.
As technology advances (and society 'advances') from barely suggested sexuality in legacy games through clearly suggested (e.g., game Blood Rayne) we can expect even greater emphasis on sexuality in the future game titles...

Disposition of majority wins and what is obviously most important: majority brings majority of money.

Adult Content is not that bad, i mean i really like it but i don't abuse it. So if you don't abuse it it's okay.

Talking about children, store clerks should be the ones who are taking the blame i mean why would they hand out games like that to minors they should be responsible enough, i blame parents too ( i even blame my own parents!)

Adult Content is fine,it is how they want to attract customers.

Don't blame store clerks, game creator/developers if the reports of rape, murder, sexual harrasment etc. increases. It is mainly the consumers fault for not controlling oneself or if the consumer is underaged, his or her parents should be blamed.

The store assistants should not have sold it to the underage customer. It is illegal to do so in many countries, but sadly isn't usually enforced.

Think if there wasn't any of those, the game would be so boring with low detailed characters.

crime has been there without porn or sexual materials. if you want to blame porn for rape, then thats a poor excuse. to be honest, people who commit rape, murder and other crime due to adult content in movies and video games are sick people, they should be put in mental institutions rather than prisons.

they should be studied rather than putting them in correctional facilities because its so lame to commit crime because you just watched it and tried it just out of curiosity.

I think if you don't like what content is in the game, don't play it. Simple! I myself could give a damn if it has sexual content. I think that's awesome heheh.

I still don't understand why sexual content is considered worse than violence.

Well there are a few games where sex is like a sidequest. Take Denigrade Battle (still in production) apart from the main story you can have sex with any character regardless of gender. The fact that the two main characters are female and are both homosexual, may cause some bad press problems. Some of the concept art shows the main characters having lesbian sex :) . The PC version will be uncut the console version will be edited to get a T rating :p. Sorry but you're not aloud to put games on a console with uncensored sex.

    Excpect bouncy, bouncy breasts :p
