Well yeah I am really troubled right now... I downloaded the data from the link wich was posted in this very topic,
and like I said, the game worked perfectly just a day before. And the R4 is deffinetly real thing, not fake.
It appears only with that game, a white screen wich goes nowhere. And if booting means shutting r4 down and starting it again, I have done that already loads of times. I wonder if I should send the R4 back to them and ask for a new one, I can still do so for 27 days :-[
Afterall, its just one game, but I'd really like to play it D:

If its only happening to Pokemon and not any other game then it cant be the R4. see if re-downloading the game will do anything, or have you tried that already. (>0.0)> PS. what version Time of darkness? I want to see if i get the same thing.

Some 1.18 firmwares for the R4 have a bug, some have been fixed... some haven't...
Try this one that I use, I even play the same game with no problems, link here- http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=2384 if not, I have heard that cheat.dats can also allow you to get pass things like the Moogle of Death before a new firmware comes out but mine works fine with the firmware I've got now and I use Romulation's game.

well if you didn't use the safely remove from usb port function it could have damaged your micro sd, though that would have fried your entire card, happened to me once, always double checked ever since

well that's the only reason i can think of if it ran at first, what brand is your MicroSD anyway?

It's the Darkness one. Thanks CJdogger, I'll try tomorrow. It's Sandisk.
I'll try redownloading the game tomorrow, too.

The MicroSD wouldn't be damaged, otherwise it would affect the whole R4 in terms of running and speed etc. Sandisk is one of the best brands, so it's not the problem. If you downloaded it from Linfox Domain, they always have the fixed versions and whatnot.

that kinda explains why my R4 was being an A** after I upgraded. :p maybe you should try a different firmware version. That worked for me.

wow this is like the second time I've seen the word EDGE.
Must be a southeast asian thing because all I see are Cyclos/R4s/M3s and recently DSTTs (however DSTT has been mentioned in the technical help section more times than I can count/all of the other DSTT problems on demonoid as well)

I agree that the CycloDS is better than the R4, but not by a lot. They have all of the same features, except the Cyclo has less compatibility with homebrew games (auto DLDI patching does it for you, but not all homebrew games), and has more compatibility with commercial roms. The gap between R4 firmware releases are a little too big though. With my Cyclo, I've had to update the firmware twice already and I've only had it for about a month. (beta don't count) you can force it to reinstall the firmware/downgrade, or even shut off the DS while its installing its firmware (even though it specifically told you not to) and it won't brick it. It will simply ask you to install it again. (I still wouldn't try it if I were you)

(if someone would like to volunteer shutting off their R4 while updating that would be greatly appreciated since I really want to know!...just kidding.)

real time saves finally work again for the cyclo if you get the beta. (try it on sidescrollers first, not animal crossing or anything like that)

Download the latest firmware from http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/, extract it, then just overwrite your previous firmware files with the new ones(if it has any on it of course) or just put all of the files inside the english etc folder straight onto your MicroSD root, the place you are in as soon as you browse it. No, updating your firmware will not do anything to your save files or any other files other than the firmware files which are replaced to update your version.
