About Quick Egg hatching cheat in Soul Silver

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by ravenlockheart, Apr 2, 2010.

  1. Ok guy's I can't seem to get the quick egg hatching cheat to work in Soul Silver and now i have a bunch of eggs in my party that aren't doing anything... They wont even hatch at all into pokemon. Its so weird. By the way its for Soul Silver (U). Is there any other forms of this code that i should know about? Or Am i doing something wrong or is this code broken?

    Here's the code:

Turn off the code and see if they can hatch at all, prehaps they won't hatch if the code is bad enough...

(this is why I dislike cheats)

I am having this SAME EXACT Problem at this VERY POINT in time. Holy crap.

The only difference is I'm looking for the Japanese version of the code, because the one I had crapped out on me. So here I am, with a few Scyther eggs on hand, and none of which are doing anything. What I find wierd is that my code worked for my Togepi egg I had gotten earler . So, will somebody give this person and I the same code for the (U) and (J) games? We'd both appreciate it, lots. ;D

  4. Yea i know what you mean about Disliking cheats.... I usually don't cheat at all but i figured it takes so freaken long to hatch egg's and I thought to myself... Hmm I can hatch eggs quickly with this code and bam it got me... Now i just want my pokemon from the egg's cause i borrowed a friend's pokemon and breed them and now i no longer have the originals. :( So any ways yea i tried turning off the code for a while figuring it was that but no go either. :(

Yea I know what you mean about that problem... It just sucks cause I want my freaken pokemon i breed. And thats how it started with me too! Like i figured I'd test it on the Togepi cause I had already gotten one from my gold Japanese save. And bam it worked... and then when i started breed my friends starter pokemon they been in egg form forever... Never to hatch. :(

Ok... Finally Figured out what is going on with this stupid code! And yes its a stupid code cause it's setting all my egg pokemon to be hatched in 2000 at the day care! Which in turn yea should hatch your pokemon quickly but it doesn't and it pretty much ruins the hole quick egg hatching. Now if you want your pokemon back eaithegrimreaper your going to have to use Poksave editor to get them back... I know i don't like cheating but... in this case i had to see what was going on with the save and a friend suggested i use this. So now we know that the quick egg hatch is a phony cheat. However... could some one please post the real quick egg hatch cheat on hear... it would be much appreciated for both (J) and (U) for soul silver.

Actually, last night I had my code on, and I put my DS on sleep mode while I was looking for a new code. Later on when I open my DS, I walk around a few steps and you will never guess what happened...

I also picked up egg from the DCM qnd it hatched just as quickly ???. The code isn't phony, it's just.. very odd. I have no idea why it decided to start working, but it did. And try my method to see if it will work, by turning n the code, then shut your DS then open it a moment later, then see if the code works.

I can conclude that the cheat is bogus. I've tried it myself. Go into Pokesav and put Steps required to 0. Much faster way to hatch them.

Actually I found a quick way to fix this. The problem of this code is that it reprogram the eggs to hatch on whatever date the egg is created, so if you meddled with the internal clock (IE: if you set in in the future, got an egg, saved, then revert the date to a past date or actual one) then it will affect the date at which the egg will hatch.

So a way to fix it is : make sure your clock is set right and avoid meddling with it during the process. Then put all your buggy eggs in the storage box, wait to have a new egg made, take your glitchy eggs back out (keep your new on with you though), save, turn your ds off, then back on with the code, and it should work (at least it worked for me). What happens in theory is that because of the new egg created, it will force the code to reset all the other eggs hatch date...or so I think....
