I realize I always post these, but secret of mana (i've probably set a record for playing that one.) secret of evermore, earthbound, breath of fire, and of course FF7.

and the 7th saga. There are 6 classes to pick when you start. demon, alien, human, tetujin, elf and mage. its good for 6 runs.

Are they affected by your choices?

If so, and if I ever bought that game, I would definately replay it until I get all storylines :3

Those game are really based on who you recruit and who you kill.....and how many times you kill them. The ending are affected by how many ally-kills you perform. Same thing with Disgaea 2...but it a bit more involved with felonies and such.

That's cool, if I ever buy that game (doubt it), I will replay it until I get all the endings

    Yes they are
for example, the best ending can be reached for "no ally kill"
(it can seems easy, but it doesn't... is not simple to end the game without involving one of your ally
    in a deadly attack)

however... some of the endings are nearly "jokes"
    for example
in disgaea 2, nearly at half of the storyline
you can ask at the tribunal to
    "view the true ending"
so you can view the "ending"
    after beating a "mid boss"
    instead of completing the game
and begin a "new game +"
with all of your unit and item
(you begin again only the storyline)
    XD

    there are other "bad" endings
(like the one you lose because the "hero"
is not the "main character" of the game)
    and other "good" ending
(beating for example a "must lose battle" of the storyline
against a "awesome high" level enemy
    XD

    disgaea 1 is for
    NDS
    PSP
    PS2
    Disgaea 2 is for
    PSP (Dark Hero Days)
    PS2 (Cursed Memories)
(but I think they are the same)

Only game that I played more than 3 times (and would do it again) was the Megaman.exe series.
I probably played each one around 3~5 times. Its just to good :)

Other games I usually start a new game and quit in the middle-end

    lufia 2.
excellent story(i wont spoil it for you if you havent played it) but its set before lufia 1, like the new star wars films are set before the old ones.
theres a 99 level dungeon that you can try to beat in a minigame and a casino.
its random battles on world map but you can see enemies in dungeons and avoid them if you want and you also get tools. a grappling hook for jumping across holes, bombs for blasting down walls, arrows and fire arrows. theres a side quest involving collecting dragon eggs, they are hidden in dungeons. you have capsule monsters travelling with you(if you can find them) and you have to feed them to make them stronger. theres some puzzle solving involved too, these can be really challenging. theres one called the worlds hardest puzzle and i need the walkthrough to do it, its too hard for me. when you do beat the game you can replay new game + which doubles exp earnt. This is the only way you will get 100% because beating the 99 level dungeon is almost impossible, 1st time through and theres some items that are hidden behind a boss that you lose to as part of the game but you can beat him 2nd time and get them. Well, i suppose you could do it 1st time if you spent 60 hours leveling up! :p
one of my favourite games of all time(cant you guess lol) played it at least 15 times

    - Dungeon Runners. 3D Hack n slash, or Diablo-like. Each area is more expansive than the last, all the way to the level 100. Online for PC, maybe Mac.
    - Hamsterball. OMFG addicting and replayable to death.
    - Unreal Tournament 2k3 or earlier, or Quake. Any FPS without vehicles everywhere is win to me.
    - Minesweeper (Authorized Hall of Fame recording software). Something about working to hall of fame level skill in Minesweeper turns it into another Tetris, but better.
    - I hear http://www.trackmania.com/ is pretty good.
    - Most likely you can't go wrong with http://jayisgames.com/best-games
    - Line Rider. You really can get lost in making or finding the best maps.

For the DS though...Picross DS. Seriously, that's about the only one that doesn't annoy/bore me to death so far. I hear good things about Drill Dozer too, my next venture I think. I do sit and play Geometry Wars Galaxies once or twice a week as well.

    Other consoles, I suggest;
Ghost n Goblins, Super Ghouls n Ghosts, SMB1 hacks like frustration, the PS1 3d version, Gauntlet Legends (and Gauntlet 4 if you have a way to play it), and Wonder Project J.

    Card games:
Illuminati, 1kbwc, all the new MB ones like Monopoly - they're actually pretty fun with shorter individual plays than their board game alternatives, and you can PM me on how to play Texas Shoot'em.
