Well the general public don't. It annoys the crap out of me too, we were given words, so we should bloody spell them/say them correctly.

it is me or cuccio123 just dont get it, that this is a casual forum, not some up-tight forum use by UN.

    Yep. So, so much irony.

Also, calvin, it may be a casual forum but it's kind of hard to understand people who don't type properly. Especially when they can use English perfectly well. This being a casual forum isn't an excuse to be unintelligible. Yeah, I can live with a couple of honest spelling mistakes, but seriously, I rage a little every time I see the English language shot to hell by people who don't even try.

Also, since I'm on a roll here, I find it difficult to read your posts. Like, it's quite tough at times.

Except America isn't the only country that speaks english. HEYYOOO.

The thing I expect is not so many spelling errors, and understandable (this includes grammar). I've seen so many posts with horrible grammar, and I can't understand it at all. It's not so much about grammar mistakes, it's about grammar disasters. While you, I read your post, although you have a couple of capitalization out of place, I still understand your post fully, and that's good.

Also, if you're in a debate, type as best as you can. srsly

I dont know if its laziness or stupidity.I give some leeway to foreigners trying to speak and type English, but it irritates me when I see a topic like "How to ......",when they mean "How do I.......".They are asking for help rather than post a Tutorial-a big difference.

Oh goodness, tell me about it. I actually loathe it when things aren't spelt correctly or in the correct order. I do give leniency to people who's original nationality isn't English, which you can tell from the way they type. Just like LookintheMirror said, minus the part about knowing their nationality of course. I'm sure you can see where I am coming from when I say this, and I am also sure that you can see that I would just be going around in circles. It's one of those things you have to live with.

I'm never sure when I encounter really bad grammar on this site whether I should correct it or not. On one hand if I do correct it, that person might learn something, on the other hand that person might resent me for being an officious prick. It's a tough call, I try to only correct someone if they've made a grammar mistake which makes their point contradictory or if I don't understand what they're saying.

I'm just wondering... The people that are posting here with terrible grammar, are they doing this on purpose? Because I really can't tell.

Yup, I don't mind people making spelling ERRORS, as long as they are just that: mistakes. But seriously ,some people know how to spell and write perfectly yet they actually go out of their way in order to 'Ryt Lyk Diis', I've no idea what's going through their heads lol...

Sometimes, people like to be able to read a post without having to resist the urge to gouge their eyes out. That is all.

    Sometimes... Sometimes, I just wish...
