    Stardust by Neil Gaiman
    It was actually a good book.

    Its not really a love story per say but it's a nice book that will appeal to teens, try The Lovely Bones By Alice Sebold
    "It is the story of a teenage girl who, after being raped and murdered, watches from Limbo as her family and friends struggle to move on with their lives while she comes to terms with her own death."

    The movie ver. was also good, if it's out on DVD yet (I saw in theater) and she might want something different than a book (and you can watch the movie version WITH your girl<space>friend nudge nudge wink wink XD)
