oh, great, now all I get when I start my dstt are alternated blue and white lines all over both screens, I'm getting my last firmware back for now and just wait for some help

say, all i need to do is to get the latest firmware?

great, I finally made it I got it working on my dstt ;D jhon, thanks for all the help and also this retro guy who made the update

My game no longer freezes, it has got the text glitch though ( not big deal, at least I can play it now ) it freezed twice on the first escape but I already beat it and it hasn't freeze anymore ( I'm saving constantly though )

Ok, it worked for once, but now, when I try to start it, I get a black screen.

 

Mine works perfectly fine... It was Acekard2i AKAIO 1.8.1 and enabled Bypass Anti-Piracy.

I think if you have something like that could bypass Anti-Piracy, you can start up screen... But it's the same when I don't have it on, like there's a black screen, but enable bypass, it started up.

 

I think I will format it once again, and if it won't work then, I dont know ant more...

 

this game broke my dstt be very careful, and if anyone knows what to do please let me know, I WANT MY DSTT BACK

Huh, I Got a M3 REAL and the game plays fine for me on M3 Sakura 1.49... (downloaded from here: http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=13031)
I used the patch from filetrip (http://filetrip.net/f22948-9-Hours-9-Persons-9-Doors-AP-Fix-1-0.html) though, never even tried the clean ROM, and was able to finish the whole game.

No idea what could be the problem for you guys, so I'll ramble on about general (probably already stated) flashcart usage for us with old carts.

Check for the newest firmware for your cart, (the guys over at GBATemp and Filetrip usually know what to do so check there (http://gbatemp.net/f40-nds-flashcarts-and-accessories or http://filetrip.net/c85-Flashcart-Files.html (but read all relevant threads, search and read again before you create new ones)))
Backup your Savefile (or even remove it and start over) before patching both the ROM and your Cart Firmware.
Also, my brother has a R4 and the MicroSD card reader that came with is really bad, it doesn't always write correctly and even ancient games like Super Mario 64 DS crashed at random. So make sure the file is intact.
